Gorman & Company, in partnership with Catholic Charities Community Services, worked with Fannie Mae, the Arizona Department of Housing and the City of Glendale, AZ to acquire this 115-unit multi-family community out of foreclosure. Built in 1971, this property is located in Glendale’s Centerline Redevelopment Area, and was experiencing unusually high levels of criminal activity. Since taking over the property, Gorman worked closely with the Glendale Police Department to rid the property of nearly all criminal activity. In late 2013 Gorman & Company will complete a dramatic rehabilitation and repositioning of the property. The newly-positioned apartments will have: before-and-after school programs; computer lab; fitness center; and theatre. There will also be a large playground and sport court.
